LET'S GET MOVING
Run coaching teaches athletes to respond to their abilities, to harness their mental strengths, and to visualize success.
To give our athletes access to the space to run their best race through PREPARATION, DISCIPLINE, AND HARD WORK.
To have running success, you must prepare the body and mind for the hardships, setbacks, and advances on the journey.
To have running success, you must have self-discipline that leads to centeredness, focus, and calmness that renders distraction a non-participant on your running journey.
To have running success, you must make adjustments to best laid plans. Training and racing often teaches us new things about ourselves, in part that being creative is just important as being logical.
To have running success, levity and just good ole fun, feeds a good long or recovery run and a post-race finish.
Blue! Reach! were the callout signals of my high school 4x 100m relay team. Blue! signaled to my forward teammate runner to push out of his ready stance and accelerate to the exchange zone.
